Joanne trained and qualified at an established regional law firm in the Home Counties, and went on to work at two other leading regional firms in Essex and Buckinghamshire before joining Baxter Harries in January 2017.
Joanne read law at the University of Hertfordshire and graduated in 2007 with a 2:1 (Hons). She then undertook the Legal Practice Course at BPP University, achieving a commendation. After finishing the Legal Practice Course, Joanne enhanced her legal knowledge and skills further by completing a Masters degree in Professional Legal Practice.
Joanne has specialised in dealing with all aspects of private family law since qualifying and has gained a breadth of experience in dealing with divorce, separation and financial matters arising from the breakdown of a relationship, often working on cases involving substantial assets and/or complex issues such as inheritances, foreign property and Public Sector pensions. Joanne’s work also covers pre and post nuptial agreements, cohabitation disputes and private disputes relating to children.
Joanne is dedicated to achieving practical, long term solutions for her clients and is a member of Resolution, a professional organisation committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes.
Joanne was promoted to Associate in January 2018, recognising her dedication and exceptional hard work.
Away from the office, Joanne is a keen horse rider and also enjoys going to the gym, travelling and spending time with her friends and family.Go Back
